Missing boy from Brisbane's south found

Jarred Cross -

A 10-year-old Aboriginal boy from Brisbane's southern suburbs has been found.

As previously reported by National Indigenous Times, the boy was last seen in Durack at approximately 12 pm on Sunday before before police issued a request for any information on his whereabouts early Monday evening.

There were serious concerns for his welfare due to his age and behaviour, which was said to be out of character.

An appeal was made for the boy, or anyone with information to come forward.

Queensland Police later on Monday confirmed the boy has been located safe and well.
